When does my Personal Year change?

What is the nine-year cycle?
Personal Years run 1 through 9 and then start again. A 1 year opens a new cycle and what you begin in it tends to still be running eight years later. A 9 year closes one, and things end in it whether or not you agreed to that. This is why starting a business in a 9 year so often stalls until the following January, and why a 4 year feels like nothing is happening when it is actually the year that decides whether the rest holds.
What are Pinnacles and Challenges?
Four life stages, each with something it is asking of you and a growth edge that does not come free. The first Pinnacle ends at 36 minus your Life Path number, and the next two run nine years each. Challenges run 0 to 8. A Challenge of 0 is not the absence of a challenge, it is the challenge of having no built-in pressure, which reads very differently.
What is an Essence number?
It comes from the letters of your name transiting at your current age, with each letter active for as many years as its value. Essence moves on its own schedule and can hold the same value for nine years running, which is often what explains a long stretch that the Personal Year alone does not account for. It needs your full name, so leave that field blank and this section will not appear.
