Knowing which two is the difference between a correct score and a plausible one. # Vashya Koota Matching: Two Points, and Who Yields to Whom Vashya koota matching is the second test in Guna Milan and carries two of the thirty-six points. It asks a question the other kootas do not: which partner naturally holds sway over the other. Not who dominates in an unpleasant sense, but who is more easily influenced, and whether that influence runs in a direction both can live with. ## The five Vashya groups Each Moon sign belongs to one of five categories, and the categories are drawn from the symbolic nature of the sign rather than from element or modality. - **Chatushpada**, the four-footed: Aries, Taurus, the second half of Sagittarius, the first half of Capricorn. - **Manava**, the human: Gemini, Virgo, Libra, Aquarius, the first half of Sagittarius. - **Jalachara**, the water-dwelling: Cancer, Pisces, the second half of Capricorn. - **Vanachara**, the wild: Leo, alone. - **Keeta**, the crawling: Scorpio, alone.
