Its four padas, and the remarkable degrees that close the zodiac. # Revati Nakshatra: All Four Padas, Lord and Meaning Revati Nakshatra occupies 16°40' Pisces to 0°00' Aries and is ruled by Mercury. Its deity is Pushan, the shepherd who guides travellers, and its symbol is a fish. In the sky it is Zeta Piscium, a modest star that happens to sit at the very end of the sidereal zodiac. This is the last of the twenty-seven. Everything about it is about arriving. ## Pushan, and safe passage Pushan is the guide. He is invoked for travellers, for lost cattle, for anyone on a road they do not know, and he is the deity who escorts the dead to where they are going. He carries a goad and knows every path. What he offers is not protection from difficulty but company through it. That is the quality Revati confers.
