Ketu in First House

Ketu in Ninth House

The native may incur the wrath of his father and deity worshiped earlier. He may be irritable and rash. There may be trouble to wife and children. He may suffer from poverty, and there may be death of family elders or father during the major or sub-periods of Ketu. Ketu associated with or aspected by the maraka owner of the second or the seventh house here may bring death to the native in its major or sub-periods. If a beneficial owner of the ninth house has sambandha with Ketu, the native will be extremely wealthy and fortunate. If Jupiter is so associ­ated, the native will be very learned and famous. He may fall out with his family and may be injured in the face. He may also have trouble in the eye leading to surgical intervention. He will get into debt or may have trouble from enemies, in litigation or from servants. Such a Ketu will also be bad for the prosperity of his father. If other factors also support, his mother may pass away during this period. If Saturn or Mars also influences Ketu, his younger sister/brother may succumb to an accident or operation, or meet a violent death.

Ketu in Eleventh House

When Ketu is good the native will be frugal and successful. He may suffer from ear disease. There may be trouble to his sister/brother or children. Ketu associated with or aspected by the owner of an angle and a triangular house will confer power, high status and prosperity on the native in its major or sub-periods. His children, especially the first born, may have a disturbed or short married life.
