The chart of learning begins at the two lights, and nowhere else. # Chaturvimsamsha Chart (D24): Education, Learning and Attainment The Chaturvimsamsha chart (D24) is read for education in a wider sense than schooling: what a person can learn, how deeply, and whether the learning turns into anything. Its other name is Siddhamsa, from siddhi, meaning attainment, and that name is the better description of what the chart is for. Its derivation contains a piece of symbolism that is unusually explicit for this system. ## How the Chaturvimsamsha chart (D24) is derived Each sign divides into twenty four parts of 1 degree 15 minutes. That configuration describes friction in the institutional part of learning. It says nothing about intelligence, and the two get run together constantly. What it also tends to describe is somebody who returns to study later.
