Its four padas, its vargottama fourth quarter, and why it succeeds far from home. # Anuradha Nakshatra: All Four Padas, Lord and Meaning Anuradha Nakshatra occupies 3°20' to 16°40' Scorpio and is ruled by Saturn. Its deity is Mitra, the god of friendship and alliance, and its symbol is a lotus. In the sky it is the three stars forming the head of the Scorpion, a neat curved row above Antares. The name means following Radha, or after the star Radha, which is an old name for the preceding nakshatra.
