First

Location of Jupiter in the first house ensures long life, good health and a good constitution for the native. He will be happy with his children and father. He may be hopeful, fortunate, religious, mature, worldly-wise and handsome. He will have happy married life and the wife will be long lived. His father will also be wealthy and mature. He will be learned and wise. He will be over-indulgent in food and drinks. He will be rich and generous. His younger sisters/brothers will have good children and will be wealthy and comfortable. His mother will be of good conduct. His children will be highly educated and fortunate. A weak, badly placed or afflicted Jupiter will cause problems to the native from children and may make the conduct of the native suspect. A well placed Jupiter in the first house counters other adverse indications in the horoscope.

Second

The native will be fortunate and financially well off. He will be particularly wealthy if the second house has Cancer, Sagit­tarius or Pisces. He will hold a high and powerful position. Here the karaka for children will be in the twelfth house from the house of children. This is not a good indication. The native stands in danger of facing some problem with respect to his children. He will reach a high position in life and his conduct will be beyond reproach. His father may be long lived and wealthy. His wife may have a large circle of friends. It will give results of its placement in the third house to his younger sister/brother, and of the second house to his mother. In a female’s chart this placement of Jupiter will be indicative of the fact that the native may get married to a widower.

Sixth

The native has a charming personality and is efficient but lazy. He will have good servants and a number of uncles. The native will gain through enemies or in litigation. His potency to procre­ate may be less than average. He will have good health, the only danger to good health will be from overindulgence in good things of life. He will have good servants and will gain through them. He will have good relations with his superiors and will have their full confidence. He may rise in his career by gaining the confidence of his boss. He will have some proficiency in occult practices. He will be thrifty. It will give results of its placement in the fourth house to his younger sister/brother, in the third house to his mother, and in the second to his children. There is a possibility of some tension in married life. His elder sister/brother will be long lived. The native may die of unknown causes or undiagnosed disease. He may suffer from tumours, or if Saturn or Rahu influences Jupiter here, from cancer. He may spend carefully. There may be some disappoint­ments or breaks in his education. It will give results of its placement in the sixth house to his younger sister/brother, in the fifth house to his mother, in the fourth house to his children and in the third house to his maternal uncle. His father may not be well off in life, but his elder sister/brother will certainly rise higher than the father.

Ninth

He will be long lived, well and highly placed, fortunate, balanced, having good and fortunate children, religious, inter­ested in philosophy, well educated, and wealthy. He will tend to do well in life. His father will be well known, learned and wealthy. He may visit abroad to lecture or take part in seminars. The native may stay abroad and have association with foreigners. He may have more younger brothers than sisters, who may do well in life. If Jupiter is weak and has the influence of an adverse Mars, the native may meet with an accident abroad, or may have to be operated upon or he may suffer losses there due to theft or enemies. It will give results of its placement in the sixth house to his mother, and in the third house to his wife. His elder sister/brother will have a large circle of friends and good and steady income.

Tenth

The native gains some expertise in law, education , philosophy or governing. His ambitions get fulfilled. His conduct will be unblemished. He is likely to have the proverbial golden touch. Whatever he begins will bring him successful returns. He gets a high position, may be in government. He will gain by long voyages. He will. be closely associated with charitable institu­tions. The 16th, 34th, and 50th years of his life will prove to be fortunate. His mother may be on the heavier side and may have a greater and more dominant role in his life. He may have some unhappiness from his children. When an adverse Saturn influ­ences Jupiter here, the good effects of its placement in this house will be heavily diluted. It will give results of its placement in the eighth house to his younger sister/brother, in the seventh house to his mother, in the sixth house to his children, in the fourth house to his wife and in the second house to his father.

Eleventh

He has a good set of friends who help him further his career goals. The native will realise his ambitions. He will have good income and financial success, particularly so if Jupiter is influ­enced by another beneficial planet. He will be wealthy and will keep good health. He will be happy with his children. He will have a happy and contented married life: The native may only be averagely educated. If Jupiter is in a movable sign here, it is an indication of progress and of the fact that the native will have managerial ability; if it is in a fixed sign, it will cause jealousy among friends; and, if it is in a common sign, the native’s friends will be religious or scientific but unreliable. It is a favourable position for businessmen and the younger sister/brother of the native. His elder sister/brother may have difficulty keeping his body weight under control. His mother may be long lived.

Twelfth

The native will be introverted, lazy and cannot express himself effectively. He will be interested in the occult and will overcome his enemies. He may not be fortunate.
